This page explains how to delete your WYFA account and what happens to your data. WYFA is operated by Moataz Abu Karat. The app is published as WYFA (com.wyfa.mobile).

In the app

You can delete your account yourself, at any time, without contacting anyone and without waiting for approval:

Settings → Account → Delete my account

It takes effect immediately. You will be signed out and you will not be able to sign in again.

Without the app

If you have uninstalled the app, cannot sign in, or would rather someone did it for you, email us and we will delete the account for you:

wyfaegypt@gmail.com

Please write from the email address on the account, or tell us the academy you belong to so we can check with them.

We act on these within 30 days, and usually within a few.

What is deleted

What remains, and why

The academy keeps its record of you as a player, guardian or coach, and the attendance, fees and match history attached to it. A child does not leave the roster because a parent closes an account.

Anything you posted stays, attributed to “Deleted member”. Records of who marked a register or recorded a payment keep a reference to a now‑anonymous account, so the academy’s own history remains verifiable.

The academy keeps those records for as long as it needs them as the record of its work.

If you want that record removed too

Email us at the address above and say so. We will consider the request against what we are required to keep — for example, a safeguarding or financial record the academy has an obligation to retain — and we will tell you what we can and cannot remove.

Children

Children hold accounts, with a guardian’s involvement. A child can delete their own account; doing so removes their login, not their place at the academy. If you are a guardian and want your child’s records handled differently, contact us.
